The Meaning, Creation, & Purpose
Our organization is centered on the concept of "Mahal," which translates to the word love. Our goal is to spread love and generosity worldwide through our giving hearts. Although we are based in California, our commitment to this cause knows no boundaries and reaches every corner of the world.
A Filipino-American created Mahal Heart to give back to the Philippines, particularly to the province of her familial origins. While visiting the country, she met a public elementary school principal who was in critical need of resources and financial support. This encounter led to her decision to donate to the school after a tour of the elementary school and meeting with a special education teacher. Furthermore, she met women artists from the Philippines who were producing handcrafted bracelets, which provided them with a vital source of income. Mahal Heart supports Filipino artisans by selling their handmade bracelets in the United States, serving as a source of income for them. In addition, for every Beyond Bracelet sold, a direct donation is made to an elementary school in the Philippines, contributing to the education of children in need.
